Welcome to SKY Asian Fusion. As you enter the gates, take your time to stop and drink in all the sights and sounds. Starting at our custom made bar, enveloped in a soft green glow, enjoy a carefully concocted martini or a drink from our award winning happy hour list. Moving further into the dining room, you will see our warrior statues- each of the three guardians hold their hands in different sutras. Along the walls and dispersed throughout the restaurant you will find other symbols of Asian culture- from our watchful bodhisattva heads to the lucky cat and bamboo at our entrance to the handmade Chinese dragon surrounding our open kitchen. Each of these touches throughout the restaurant add to the fusion experience of SKY. Sky Asian Fusion is located on the 6th floor of Holiday Inn & Suites Ocala Conference center.

Unlike the traditional image conjured up by the Holiday Inn name, IHG and local owner Danny Gaekwad has infused practicality and luxury to create a rich and sensuous atmosphere worthy of natives and visitors alike. It made perfect sense for the DMKK Restaurants, LLC to partner their SKY Asian Fusion concept with Intercontinental Hotels Group (IHG) and become a part of Ocala's destination experience.

About the Owner
Danny Gaekwad is a first generation entrepreneur who has more than twenty five year's experience in building very successful diversified businesses from ground up across Hospitality, Information Technology and Digital Media services. Danny currently lives in Ocala, FL with his wife and two sons. Danny has been a highly respected hospitality professional since 1986 and currently owns more than a dozen ventures including brand names like Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Hampton Inn, Carlson Hotels Country Inn and suites and Golden Spoon Award Winner Sky Asian Fusion restaurants.His love for culinary food makes him a proud owner of Sky Asian Fusion. He says "You have to make sure every meal coming out is award winning." SKY received a Spoon last year, believed to be the first for an Ocala restaurant. This year again it's won the spoon.
